Not as nice as our first dorm, but it has its perks. (Particularly showering in private.)
We cleaned the place up a bit last weekend... getting lots of nasty mold off the shower walls.
Here the shower and sink are in a room and the toilet in another--usually Korean bathrooms have them together, but there's not usually a shower "stall" - it's just the shower head on the wall as seen in the picture.
Note also the mattress -- two inches thick. Oddly enough, doesn't seem to pose too much of a problem for sleeping--in fact, I kind of like the firm bed. A little more cushion wouldn't hurt, though.
And I take all these pictures with my purple camera.
Even the picture of the purple camera is taken with a purple phone.
I think my favorite color is yellow or orange. But then again, the evidence proves otherwise...
Something I realized while packing, though--it's amazing how little you can live off of. I mean, how much of the junk you bring to college do you actually use? (Apparently mostly the purple stuff...)
So, that's "dorm life." Except, dorm life is a lot more exciting than that. I'll cover that in the next post, hopefully.
