Exciting stuff.

I guess I need to make an effort to take my camera with me at times besides hiking.  After all, we've eaten a lot of Korean food, and I'm sure you'd all like to see the raw fish and pig's feet that was ordered.  Sorry.  (Sorry, sorry, sorry...)

But really, it's beautiful around here.  You'd think I'd have more pictures of city, but in taking those pictures you basically scream "tourist!" It's not like we don't stand out enough here.  So, until I get around to taking more pictures in Pohang, enjoy a bit more of the "mountains" of Handong.

As well as the rice paddies.

And beautiful sunsets.

And look, a trail that was headed in the direction of campus. (Picture taken from opposite direction.)

Oops. Nope, that's just a trail that goes back up on the other side meant for mountain biking.

If I was a geologist I would know what this stuff is.  My "educated" guess from 8th grade Basic Science is shale.

But it has a cool texture!

I promise next time (hopefully) you'll see a little more of what you might expect from a blog about living in Korea.  Some kimchi, noraebang (karaoke-we're going tonight!), the street-mall, and hopefully some pictures of myself and friends. Yeah, that would probably be good.

Anyeong!
